My puppy ab gets the hiccups after she does anything (eats and plays) is this common?biggrin

My English Bulldog puppy also get the hiccups frequently...I never thought I needed to be concerned...should I?

Our female when she was a puppy had the hiccups A LOT!! I just thought it was a sign of her growing! LOL. No just got some excess air in their bellies, probably comes from eating too fast. Nothing to worry about.

My dog used to get hiccups alot. But after a while he just stoped as he got older. Nothing to worry about. They'll be fine.

Its just from getting too excited and not remembering to breathe right. Also eating too fast and drinking too fast can cause this. You will notice that the ones that fart/burp the most are the ones that have hiccups the most since they inhale gulps of air.
